The week at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur was marked by proud achievements and a heartwarming alumni engagement that together reflected the school’s enduring spirit of excellence and connection.

In a moment of distinction, Mahamaya Rath of Class XI secured the First Position in the Odia Elocution Competition (Senior Category) organised by NALCO at its Corporate Office to commemorate Vigilance Awareness Week. Her articulate delivery and clarity of thought won high praise from the judges. Hearty congratulations to Mahamaya on this remarkable achievement!

Adding to the week’s pride, our school choir excelled at the National Group Song Competition – State Level, organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad at Brahmapur. The team bagged the First Prize in Folk Song, Second Prize in Sanskrit Song, and Second Prize in Hindi Song, showcasing their musical versatility and harmony.

As part of the Alumni Outreach Programme, Ms. Anita Dash (Batch of 2002) conducted an engaging session on “ABC’s of Cyber Safety” for Class IX students on 1st November 2025 in the Activity Hall. The session, attended by around 220 students and 10 teachers, provided valuable insights into safe digital practices and responsible online behaviour. The interactive discussion followed by a quiz made the session both informative and impactful.
