The week brought moments of pride and distinction for DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, as students and leadership continued to shine across national, state, and institutional platforms.

At the DAV National Sports Girls Meet 2025, held in Delhi, Komal Krishna of Class VI delivered an outstanding performance in swimming events, bringing honour to both Odisha and DAV CSPUR.
She secured a Silver Medal in the 200 m Individual Medley (Under-14 Girls). Continuing her remarkable run, Komal went on to win another Silver Medal in the 100 m Breaststroke and a Bronze Medal in the 50 m Freestyle. Her consistent excellence at the national level reflects exceptional discipline, determination, and sporting spirit.

Adding to the week’s achievements, the school quiz team excelled at the Rotary Bhubaneswar Eco-Achievers Quiz, organised by the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar on 11 January 2026 at Sai International School, Bhubaneswar.
With participation from 25 teams representing schools across Odisha, our students emerged as Second Runners-Up in this prestigious competition.

In a moment of great honour for the DAV fraternity, our revered Regional Director Sir was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Foundation for Restoration of National Values (FRNV), Bhubaneswar Chapter. The award recognises his transcendent contributions to value-centric and holistic education, celebrating decades of visionary leadership that have shaped generations of learners and educators alike.
