The Department of Languages, hosted the Literature Conclave 3.0 in a two-phase program.
In the inaugural session, Class XI students from Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams had the privilege of engaging with three distinguished luminaries. Dr. Sujata Sahu, the Principal, inaugurated the conclave. In her welcome address, she emphasised the enduring relevance of literature in nurturing empathy, critical thinking, and cultural awareness.
The session featured Dr. Gourahari Das, a celebrated Author, Editor, and Academician, who captivated students with his insights on "The Role of Media in the Evolving Literary Landscape of India." Dr. Pallab Das, Dean of the School of Law at Centurion University,
shared an inspiring narrative, "My Journey of Grit and Survival."
Dr. Abhishek Sharma, Associate Professor at Ravenshaw University, discussed "Sahitya Ka Manav Jeevan Mein Prabhav," highlighting the profound influence of literature on human life.
A special highlight was the book launch of *Through My Lenses* by Master Priyansh Pratik Mohanty of Standard X, inspiring his friends to pursue their literary ambitions. Students gained a deeper understanding of the transformative power of literature and media, as well as the resilience and insights drawn from personal journeys.
In the second phase, students from Classes VII to X interacted with Guru Sangramjit Das on the theme *Discovering Inner Strength Through the Bhagavad Gita,* prompting self-reflection and personal growth.
The program's highlight was an inspiring talk by Dr. K.C. Satapathy, the esteemed Regional Director, DAV Institutions Odisha on *The Role of Value Education in Shaping Responsible & Compassionate Individuals.* As the speaker in the first episode of #DAVChandrasekharpurTalks,
he also reminisced about the school’s foundational journey, leaving a lasting impact on students.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Bharati Pradhan, Academic Supervisor.
