"Every child deserves a safe childhood — free from fear, full of hope."
With this powerful message at its core, DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur organized a POCSO Awareness Session on 21st July 2025, reinforcing its unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of every child on campus.
The session was attended by the entire school staff — including teaching and non-teaching faculty, support staff, and transport personnel. This inclusive participation emphasized the shared responsibility we all hold in building a secure and nurturing environment for students.
Renowned social activist Ms. Anuradha Mohanty led the session with deep insight and empathy. She sensitized attendees about the legal provisions of the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) and underlined the critical role of adults—in every corner of the school ecosystem—in identifying, preventing, and addressing child safety concerns.
Her words struck a deep chord with the audience, reminding everyone that protection begins with awareness, and vigilance is the first step toward prevention. Through real-world examples, open dialogue, and legal clarity, Ms. Mohanty empowered the school community to become proactive protectors and advocates for child rights.
As an institution that prioritizes not just academic excellence but also emotional safety, DAV Chandrasekharpur remains committed to creating a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment for every student.
