A moment of immense pride for the DAV family!
Manyata Singh, alumna of the 2024–25 batch of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, has brought international glory by winning the Silver Medal in the 10m Air Rifle Junior Women category at the Asian Shooting Championship 2026, held in New Delhi.
The prestigious championship witnessed participation from 17 countries and over 300 competitors, making her achievement even more remarkable. Competing against some of the finest young shooters across Asia, Manyata displayed extraordinary focus, precision, and composure to secure a podium finish.
With this historic accomplishment, she becomes the first student from DAV Chandrasekharpur and DAV Odisha to emerge as an International Shooter, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s sporting legacy.
Her success reflects years of discipline, dedication, and unwavering determination — qualities that define the DAV spirit.
