This week at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur brought forth a harmonious blend of artistic recognition and scientific excellence, highlighting the school’s commitment to holistic development across disciplines.

We are proud to announce that Debabrata Das Sir, our beloved Music Teacher, was honoured with the Nrutya Naivedya Samman at a prestigious ceremony held at Jaydev Bhavan. This award is a recognition of his exceptional contribution to the world of music and performing arts. His passion for nurturing talent and preserving the cultural richness of our heritage continues to inspire students and fellow educators alike. The DAV CSPur fraternity congratulates him on this well-deserved accolade.

In the field of science and innovation, DAV CSPur students made a mark at the STEMUL8 SCIENCE OLYMPIAD 2025, a nationwide quiz competition held on 6th July 2025. Open to students from Class VI to X, the Olympiad tested scientific aptitude, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

In the High School category (Grades 8 to 10):

• Jayash Baral secured 1st Place
• Ruhan Mohanty took 2nd Place
• Samikshya Swain ranked among the top 5 runners-up

In the Middle School category (Grades 6 to 7):

• Pranit Narayan secured 3rd Place

As a reward for their outstanding performance, the top three winners from each category will receive a STEMUL8 Science Kit worth ₹19,000, designed to encourage hands-on learning and scientific curiosity.
