DAV Chandrasekharpur declared overall Champion Bhubaneswar - 30 November In the recently concluded DAV National Sports Zonal Meet - 2023 organised by DAV Regional Directorate, Odisha, DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar has been declared as the overall champion for the second consecutive year. The school has secured 82 points followed by the Runners Up DAV CDA, Cuttack with 77 points. Around 60 DAV Institutions of the state participated in the mega sporting events which were organised by different DAV schools across Odisha. The Regional Director of DAV Institutions, Odisha Dr K C Satapathy amidst other dignitaries handed over the trophies to winning schools and honoured the budding players. The champion team won titles in Boys and Girls Skating, Girls Karate, Girls Shooting and was adjudged Runners Up in Boys Football, Girls Chess, Boys Table Tennis, Boys Tennis and Boys Yoga. The Principal Dr Sujata Sahu, Coordinator, Academic Supervisors honoured the winning contingent and the sports teachers in the school premises on Thursday.
