This week has been filled with moments of pride and inspiration as our students shone brilliantly across diverse fields — from art and quizzing to chess. Their successes not only highlight individual talent but also reflect the culture of excellence nurtured at DAV CSPur.

At the Painting Competition conducted by the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar at the Rail Auditorium, CS Pur, our students showcased remarkable creativity. Pratyasha Priyadarshini Sahoo of Std. VII secured the 2nd Prize in Category A, winning a cash prize of ₹10,000 and a trophy. Adding to the accolades, Prajeet Kumar Das of Std. VIII bagged a Consolation Prize, along with a cash award of ₹1,000 and a certificate.

On 13th August, the prestigious East Coast Railway Quiz brought together top CBSE schools from Bhubaneswar, where our team represented the school with great pride. After rounds of intense competition, Srujan Kumar Bastia of XI HUM and Asish Kumar Rath of XII HUM emerged as champions, lifting the Winner’s Trophy. Their performance stood as a shining testament to sharp thinking, composure, and the spirit of excellence that defines our Quiz Club.

Adding to the string of achievements, our young chess prodigy Sattwik made the school proud yet again by clinching 3rd place in the Senior State Chess Championship. His consistency and brilliance on the board have also earned him a nomination for the prestigious Biju Patnaik Sports Award in the category of Young Sportsperson of the Year.
