Sharthak Shankar Bhagat, from the batch of 2004, has led WhiteShark Polymer to take a bold step towards a sustainable future. 

WhiteShark Polymer proudly signed an MoU with the Government of Odisha to set up India’s first-of-its-kind, end-to-end biodegradable polymer manufacturing plant—a testament to their commitment to a cleaner planet.

With an investment of approximately ₹20 crore, this state-of-the-art facility will pioneer a fully integrated production process—from masterbatch to film and mould-based products, ensuring that every product lives up to its end-of-life compostability promise. More than just manufacturing, WhiteShark is embedding a circular service model into its operations—because sustainability is not just about making, but also about unmaking responsibly.

At WhiteShark, sustainability is not just a business goal—it’s a way of life. Whether through renewable energy (WhiteShark Energy), sustainable fashion (Utkal Vibes), or now compostable packaging (WhiteShark Polymer)—our alumni remain steadfast in their mission to build a world that we can be proud to live in and leave behind.
