We take immense pride in celebrating the outstanding achievement of our distinguished alumnus Amiya Mallick, who, along with his teammates Animesh Kujur, Lalu Prasad Bhoi, and Sarun Payasingh, secured the Gold Medal in the Men’s 4×100m Relay at the 64th National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships in Chennai.
What makes this victory even more special is that the Odisha relay team etched their names into the record books by setting a new meet record with a remarkable timing of 39.52 seconds. Their electrifying performance was a true display of teamwork, discipline, and unwavering determination.
Amiya’s journey from our school corridors to becoming one of India’s fastest sprinters has been a source of constant inspiration for students and alumni alike. This latest triumph not only adds to his long list of accolades but also reflects the rising dominance of Odisha in the field of athletics.
Such achievements remind us of the power of dedication, perseverance, and passion in turning dreams into reality. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Amiya and his teammates and wish them continued success as they carry forward the pride of the state and the nation on the global sporting stage.
