True to the spirit of service and social responsibility, the DAV CSPUR Alumni Association (DAVAA) took a heartfelt initiative this week, reaffirming its commitment to giving back to the community.

On 14th December, members of DAVAA visited “Khusiyon Ka Ghar”, an old age home, where the experience proved to be deeply moving and meaningful. Inspired by the warmth and resilience of the elderly residents, the Alumni Association has decided to adopt the home, pledging sustained support and companionship. The visit highlighted the simple yet profound needs of the residents—time, conversation, emotional connection, health support, groceries, and daily essentials. The interaction reinforced the belief that even small gestures of care can bring immense joy and comfort to those in their golden years.

Continuing this journey of compassion, on 16th December, the residents of Khusiyon Ka Ghar were invited to the school campus at the gracious invitation of our revered Principal Ma’am. They had the opportunity to witness the Opening Ceremony of the Annual Athletic Meet, an experience that filled them with excitement and pride.
The warmth, hospitality, and personal presence of Principal Ma’am made the occasion truly special, ensuring that our guests felt welcomed, valued, and cherished. The smiles and happiness on their faces made the day unforgettable for everyone involved.

This initiative stands as a beautiful reminder that the DAV legacy extends beyond academics—rooted deeply in empathy, inclusivity, and service to society.
