The 30th Annual Alumni Meet : Milaap 2025 unfolded as a memorable celebration of connection, gratitude, and shared legacy—bringing together alumni across 19 batches for an evening that truly felt like coming home.

The programme opened on a soulful note with musical renditions by school students, setting the tone for an evening filled with nostalgia and pride. Their performances beautifully reflected the continuity of talent and values nurtured within the DAV family.

A reflective highlight of the evening was the “Snapshot of DAVAA – Year 2025”, presented by Mr. Prateek Sinha, President, DAVAA, capturing the milestones, initiatives, and collective efforts that shaped the alumni association’s journey through the year. It stood as a testament to the growing strength and purpose of the DAVAA community.

The gathering was deeply honoured by the presence of our revered Principal Ma’am, whose address resonated with warmth, wisdom, and encouragement. As a mark of respect and gratitude, the Alumni Association felicitated Dr. Sujata Sahu, acknowledging her unwavering guidance and role in nurturing generations of DAVites. This moment was met with heartfelt applause and admiration.

The event was further elevated by the gracious presence of our respected RD Sir, Dr.K.C. Satapathy, whose address added depth and meaning to the gathering. He spoke on the enduring values of the DAV ethos and the vital role alumni play as ambassadors of these principles in society. His words of guidance and blessings left the alumni inspired and deeply connected to their roots.

Adding grace and vibrancy to the evening, students of Class XI presented a captivating dance performance, reminding alumni that the spirit of expression and confidence continues to thrive within the school corridors.

Laughter and spontaneity took centre stage during the interactive games session, where alumni picked chits and joyfully performed the fun challenges written within—rekindling youthful energy and shared laughter across generations.

One of the most touching segments of the evening was the sharing of alumni memories and experiences. Stories of classrooms, teachers, friendships, and life lessons flowed freely, weaving together decades of memories into one collective narrative of belonging.

A lively quiz on school history and moments followed, sparking enthusiasm, friendly competition, and fond recollections among participants. As the evening progressed, the atmosphere turned electric with a live performance by Band Chakravyuh, whose music brought energy, rhythm, and celebration to the gathering—perfectly closing the formal programme on a high note.

The evening concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks, followed by a group photo session capturing smiles, reunions, and timeless bonds. Alumni then gathered over evening snacks, continuing conversations that effortlessly bridged years and batches.

The Milaap 2025 was more than an event; it was a reaffirmation of identity, connection and collective pride. A celebration of where we come from, who we have become, and the bonds that continue to unite us.
